Chapter 6.
I would prefer to teach in a classroom that had more technology because it allows the students to learn in more ways than just sitting in a classroom listening to a teacher talk.  I really liked the idea of having digital cameras in the classroom because if you were doing a project and the students needed pictures of whatever topic they were doing then you can easily have them and take a picture and they can keep going back to the picture for future uses.  I also think that using an electronic whiteboard would help student participation in the classroom and it will keep them more engaged in what is going on. The whiteboards would also let the students learn hands on and allows them to interact with the materials they studying. 



Chapter 11.
One traditional audio technology that I would use is the audio cassettes.  This would be helpful in the classroom because it is inexpensive and you can use it in many ways such as students using them to read or follow along with books.  One emerging technology that I would use for audio would be the Internet radio.  This is a creative way to engage students with what is going on in the world and it provides the students with many different ways to use it, like listening or reading it from the visual text.  A traditional visual technology that I would use in the classroom would be the videocassette recorders because you would be able to tape the lesson that you went over that day and if a student is sick that day then they can just watch the video and learn the lesson.  The videos can also be used when reviewing for a test.  An emerging visual technology that would be useful in the classroom would be Internet broadcast.  These would be very helpful in the classroom because it will allow students to either post videos for a project or they can look for videos that will help them with research for a project.
